Nieuwe Haarlem Chenin Blanc Paarl. In 16947 the ship Nieuwe Haarlem was wrecked off the coast of South Africa, stranding the crew, they planted vegetables and wine grapes from the salvaged cargo. This wine has teasing nuances of apricot and honeydew with bracing minerality to balance them. In the mouth it is rich and textured with spicy complexity. Try it with a shrimp cocktail.
