Barrigon Charelo (Xarelo) 2021

The house’s favorite! This Barrigón was lightly touched by french oak for 4 months, which gave it a color of sand under the midday sun. Fruit-forward with a lot of ripe pineapple, and a note of grapefruit that adds a freshness to the symphony topped off with rounded notes of dill and spearmint. At the very end one finds some aromas of fresh baked bread and custard cream. In mouth it is creamy, with a bright acidity, perfect for building an appetite. It’s low alcohol content makes it a perfect drink for a hot, sunny afternoon -  well chilled by the poolside or in motion with the ocean’s waves.
