Barrigon Charelo (Xarelo) and Macabeo 2021

Barrigon considers these two grapes their “house” grapes and delights in making this blend annually. The Charelo delivers a healthy amount of fruit in yellow apples and lemon peel, while the Macabeo is in charge of the wine's freshness. The bright and singing acidity make this Barrigón an excellent choice for a day at the beach for a hot afternoon on the deck.

When we tasted this while still in the tank, it flirted with pineapple and yeast aromas and these are notes that can still be found in the glass. A touch or vanilla

blends in softly with this wine's fruity personality. A noble Barrigón that can be enjoyed on its own, but does remarkably well with fresh oysters or an aguachile.
