Tasting Notes

The nose is earthy and rich with notes of stewed black cherry, strawberry, blood orange, freshly turned soil, and rooibos tea, and the palate has bright acidity without being too lean. - Michelle DeWyngaert

This wine is named “Lutte.” meaning “fight to overcome” in French.

100% Gamay

Willamette Valley, Oregon

The main difference between Gamay Noir and Pinot Noir is that Gamay tends to be more floral in the nose, and can have higher minerality and slightly higher acidity. Gamay also produces larger yields, making for an often more affordable version of its Pinot Noir counterpart.
