All of the fruit for this wine comes from vines with at least 30 years of age. The aromas offer notes of roasted coffee bean, almond skin, fresh tobacco and black cherry. The flavors are lightly styled, dipping in the middle and bringing a lot of tart freshness. Tobacco notes linger on the finish. — Sean P. Sullivan
Columbia Valley, WA- Blackberry and black plum show strength, but are not so ripe as to lose the wonderful herbal qualities such as fresh oregano and tarragon. The tannins are fine with wonderful focus. Finishes with dark chocolate and leather. Yum!
